Digital Inclusion and Health Literacy Resources for Farmworker Health.

One part of our G08 Grant is promoting digital literacy through the MEP Laptops Program, in coordination with the NC Farmworker Health Program’s Internet Connectivity Project, and with community partners across North Carolina.

Digital Literacy Flip Chart

This is flip chart is an education tool for farmworker health outreach. It discusses apps and digital resources that can help farmworkers stay safe and informed at work.

These videos in English and Spanish developed by ECU’s Laupus Library are for farmworkers and outreach workers to use as educational tools for understanding and promoting digital literacy.

Student Action with Farmworkers (SAF) is an important partner in this work and an early advocate for digital inclusion for farmworkers and their families. SAF is leading an effort to partner with community organizations to increase capacity to deliver internet access and technology to students in migrant farmworker families.
